Yesterday, I made hummus from scratch. No added weird oils or preservatives. Garbonzo beans, lemon juice, salt, tahini, a little water, a little garlic. That's it. Garlic optional.
Highly recommend.
So much cheaper and lighter and fresher.
Healthy!
Pic has olive oil drizzled on top but you don’t have to do that . Yum

Today I am enjoying the cooler weather in the PNW; yesterday I enjoyed swimming in Lake Washington, and staring at the beauty of the water. Sometimes the light in the water calms my mind and allows inspiration to come in.
Today's inspiration comes from a reading I did the other day; someone's mother or grandmother from the other side was showing me a hand crocheted white string doily. It was fraying, and she was comparing it to the world today. She said, don't be afraid to let it fall apart, it will get crocheted back together differently. Let it fall apart and become something new.
I am not advocating revolution! Just saying that certain structures need to be reformed.
