Seattle Children's Hospital We are honored to be recognized as one of the nation’s best children’s hospitals. U.S. This isn't about beating the odds. This is about changing them.

News & World Report has recognized Seattle Children’s as a top children’s hospital every year since it began ranking medical facilities more than 25 years ago. We fight relentlessly to make sure there’s no such thing as “out of options” and to make sure kids who “didn't have a chance” can have the childhoods they deserve. At Seattle Children’s, we’re united by a compelling mission: We provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. Together, we deliver superior patient care, advance new discoveries and treatments through pediatric research and serve as the pediatric and adolescent academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho – the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country. If your child is experiencing a healthcare emergency, call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.

Timely recognition and treatment can make a lifesaving difference for children with sepsis.

A Seattle Children's study using CHA’s Pediatric Health Information System® found that disparities in sepsis recognition decreased as hospitals followed best practices developed by the Improving Sepsis Outcomes Collaborative. In some cases, the gaps were eliminated.

As we continue celebrating Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Week, we want to share a look back at how we kicked off the festivities.

Earlier this week, we set up tables across several of our clinic sites to personally thank our APPs for the vital role they play in our healthcare teams.

At Seattle Children’s, we know that delivering exceptional care requires a unique balance of advanced clinical expertise and profound compassion. Our APPs bring both to our patients and families every single day.
