Bob Johnsons Pharmacy Seattle's own locally owned compounding and full service pharmacy; serving since 1957. Winner of 2025's Best Pharmacy in the PNW by the Seattle Times.

We are an independent pharmacy located in the Crown Hill/Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. We are one of the last remaining independents, and focus on customer service, compounding, blister packaging - both for individuals and facilities, and immunizations. We believe if good service is old fashioned, then we are PROUD to be old fashioned! History: Bob Johnson opened the pharmacy in 1957 in the same location as it stands today. In 1988, employee Mike Donohue bought the store from Bob Johnson and continued Bob’s mission of providing small-town service to a growing community. Mike unfortunately passed away in 2022, but his legacy is carried on as Bob's continues to be independent and locally owned

Flu and covid activity are already climbing across Washington. Now that it's October, the best time to get your seasonal vaccines is right now, before the gatherings, travel, and holidays start.

We now have Flumist in stock! Great for those who don't like needles, aged 2-49 without other contraindications. Schedule on our website or walk right in on a Friday like today.

September 1 marks the beginning of seasonal vaccine season. We have flu shots in stock, you can make an appointment on our website or walk in on Fridays.

We will update our phone message and Facebook once covid shots are available - we are optimistic they should be in the next couple weeks.

Here's the timing question we get every year: when's the best time to get yours?

Our pharmacists recommend most people wait until September 1st - flu protection is strongest in the months right after your shot, and starting a little later helps make sure you're covered through the peak of flu season (not fading before it).

That said, we know timing isn't one-size-fits-all. If you're traveling soon, heading back to school, or just want peace of mind sooner rather than later, we've got you covered now. Scan the QR code to schedule a vaccine appointment. You can also stop by or give us a call and we'll get you taken care of.

Limited walk-in times may be available. We will post a link to our scheduler in the comments.

As for covid vaccine - this is not yet available, we will be updating our phone message when we get more information.

Our technician Debbie organized a Seattle Mariners Day on Saturday. We saw a newly healthy Julio Rodriguez hit the walkoff hit and had great times with about 30 team members and their families! What a great time. Go Mariners!
