Neighborcare Health

Neighborcare Health All are welcome at Neighborcare Health. We accept most insurance, including Apple Health (Medicaid).

Since 1968, Neighborcare Health has partnered with patients to help them improve their health and reach their goals, by lowering barriers to care and offering services to treat the whole person. Insurance is not required, and no one is turned away for inability to pay.

As he retires from the Neighborcare Health governing Board of Directors, Rick Rubin reflects on what made his time so meaningful, the dedication of our staff, and the collaborative nature of board service.

We're grateful for Rick's leadership and years of service to our community.

May is High Blood Pressure Awareness Month ❤️

High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but it can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other serious health conditions. The good news? Small steps can make a big difference.

At Neighborcare Health, we're here to support your heart health every step of the way. That includes regular blood pressure screenings, help finding the right medication, and nutrition counseling that respects your culture, traditions, and the foods you love. We also offer on-site pharmacies at five of our clinics, making it easier to get the medications you need and stay on track with your care.

Checking your blood pressure regularly, staying active, eating nourishing foods, managing stress, and staying connected to care all matter. Because everyone deserves access to compassionate, affordable care that supports their whole health.

If it’s been a while since your last check-up, now is a great time to schedule one.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to recognize that mental health is an essential part of overall health.

We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, whole-person care that supports both physical and mental wellbeing. Through integrated behavioral health services, our care teams work alongside patients to provide support, connection, and care without judgment.

Behavioral health services are available to established Neighborcare Health medical and dental patients. If you’re interested in getting connected to care, visit the link in our bio to learn how to become a patient and access services.

This month and every month, we’re committed to creating healthier communities where people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Community happens through connection 💙

Our Community Health Navigators attended the Seattle King County Clinic and the “Every Month is Black History Month” event at the Northwest African American Museum to connect community members with essential resources, including food programs, transportation resources and access to care.

At both events, the team-built relationships talked about our services, and connected with partner organizations working toward healthier communities for everyone.

Thank you to Wellpoint for being our leading sponsor and a steadfast partner in advancing whole-person care across our communities. Your support helps us continue delivering compassionate, integrated care to thousands of patients each year, from school-based health centers to care for people experiencing homelessness, behavioral health services, dental care, and beyond.

Because of partners like Wellpoint, we’re able to meet people where they are and continue building a healthier, more equitable future for our communities. We’re deeply grateful for your ongoing commitment to expanding access to care and investing in the wellbeing of our neighbors.

Last week, we had the opportunity to celebrate the incredible nurses who care for our patients and communities every day with compassion, skill, and dedication.

A special thank you to the Seattle Sounders FC organization for helping make this celebration possible by providing discounted tickets for our nursing team. The opportunity to recognize and appreciate our nurses in this way meant so much to them.

To our nurses: thank you for the care, advocacy, and humanity you bring to Neighborcare Health every single day. Our communities are stronger because of you.
