Red Mountain Sedona

Red Mountain Sedona Red Mountain Sedona is a licensed, mindfulness-based, trauma-informed therapeutic healing center for young adults who have not yet met their life goals.
(207)

We provide evidence-based therapies and skills development services with an independent living model. Red Mountain Sedona is a Therapeutic Healing Program for young adults that offers professional clinical services, meditation programs, yoga, martial arts, hiking, equine therapy, and 12-step discussion. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that a "mindful," healthy life is more enjoyable and pea

ceful than a life of compulsive behavior and internal strife. We assist with the healing from past trauma, grief, loss, and wreckage caused by poor decision-making. We encourage and help our patrons to rebuild faulty relationships with family, loved ones, and most importantly themselves. We also teach and guide our patrons toward the "creation" of a more desirable future, by eliminating the self-limiting beliefs and behaviors that have confined them for so long.

We’re enjoying the summer monsoon season with a two-day camping trip to nearby Christopher Creek Campground! Six of our students are taking a break from their daily responsibilities, technology, and distractions to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy some time outdoors. We’re grateful to have so much incredible natural beauty right in our backyard!

We’re thrilled to bring an invaluable clinical training to Sedona this fall!

*Becoming an Attachment Family Therapist* is an immersive, three-day experience for clinicians who want to transform the way they work with adolescents, young adults, and their families. Join us November 3–5, 2026, for practical, experiential training in attachment-based family therapy—designed specifically for residential and wilderness treatment settings.

Led by Jim Thomas, LMFT, and Amanda Thomas, MPhEd, LMFT, participants will gain powerful tools for navigating relational trauma, high reactivity, and complex family dynamics. You’ll learn how to strengthen emotional engagement, reduce triangulation, build relational safety, and intervene effectively in the moment.

The training includes 22 CEs and is intentionally limited to approximately 16–20 participants, creating space for meaningful practice, connection, and clinical growth.

Early bird registration is $850 through August 1. Student pricing is $450, and full registration is $900. Groups of five or more receive $50 off per person.

Space is limited—learn more and reserve your spot today!

At Red Mountain Sedona, growth looks like this; riding red rock trails, slowing down under towering trees, and sharing meals and laughter together. From pushing limits on mountain biking trails to unplugging along the water during our recent camping trip in Oak Creek Canyon, clients are finding confidence, perspective, and a genuine sense of joy in the process.

Stay tuned to see where we camp next!
