Arles and Lloyd Winter, residents at Sanford Sheldon Care Center, recently celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary. Reflecting on their years together, Lloyd said marriage hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it.

“It’s not always smooth,” he said. “You’ve got to make up before you go to sleep every night if something happens. And it’s not a 50/50 split, either. You’ve got to give it 100 percent.”

We had an amazing time at the Sheldon Labor Day Parade with so many employees and their families coming out to represent Sanford Sheldon! It was wonderful to see our awesome team having fun together.

Recently the Northwest Iowa American Legion Riders presented a short program to Sanford Senior Care residents. The American Legion Riders thanked the Veteran residents for their service and had a short program. The afternoon was enjoyed by all residents.
