Today, we recognize the first responders who show up when children, families, and communities need them most.

To EMS clinicians, firefighters, dispatchers, and all those serving on the front lines: thank you for your skill, preparation, compassion, and commitment—on every call and every day.

On National First Responders Day, we thank you for all you do.

As we kick off National School Bus Safety Week, parents — remind your kids to always:

🟡 Look left-right-left before crossing the street.
🟡 Stay at least 5 giant steps away from the curb.
🟡 Before boarding, wait for the bus to come to a complete stop.

How Pediatric Ready is your EMS agency?

The PPRP Open Assessment is available now, giving EMS and fire-rescue agencies an opportunity to assess their Pediatric Readiness, identify gaps, and determine where to focus improvement efforts. The voluntary assessment takes about 30–45 minutes and can be saved and completed later.

Don't wait for the next nationwide assessment to check your readiness.
