First, the website host was bought & the new owner is being unhelpful for me to regain access to my own website. So... The information posted there is out of date. As of Augiust 16, 2025, the current parameters are:

You sign up with your name & phone number. For every dollar you spend, you get a point. When you accumulate 300 points, you get a $10.00 loyalty credit. We batch out the loyalty program in the first part of the following month, so you don't get instant credit; it may take a bit. No expiration dates; the points just accumulate. Consignment items do not count toward the loyalty points. All points are ongoing. We don't apply prior receipts to the program. No cash value, this is just a straight loyalty system.

Herb safety, training, & who to trust? PLUS: A huge warning about specific herbs at the end
*
Long post. Very necessary & possibly life-saving.
*
When a serious illness hits, it's frightening. Sometimes, the standard treatments are even scarier. People search out "natural" treatments & cures thinking they are safer, less harmful, more effective. "They" don't want you to know because .... whatever scary thing. Evil Big Med. Big Pharma. Evil Government Organization.
*
Or they go to an alternative medical person instead of the standard specialist. Kind of like bringing your car to a caterer when the Check Engine Lght is on.
*
A person has been in repeatedly for cancer treatments. Think "Successful Exec, Retired C-Suite" "Very Comfortable Retirement" & "Mild Gender Superiority" personality. Translated: Don't listen to the shop girl. You outrank her on so many levels. And she doesn't have a "Dr. of Chiropractor (DC)" degree.
*
Having gotten the cancer diagnosis, Retiree now goes to a chiropractor. To treat cancer. Here is the very basic requirement to be a DC :
-- appx. 3 years undergraduate, not necessarily pre-med. Can be exercise or movement;
-- appx. 4 years in DC school plus board certification;
-- none of the requirements cover nutrition or herbal supplements- they might be electives but don't have any emphasis. Remember this, now. None of the requirements have anything to do with oncology at all.
*
I am the shop girl. Clinical herbalist. Herbwyfe. Researcher & science-driven. I have 30-plus years self-directed study. Plus dual certification through Dr. Tieraona Low Dog. I know what I'm talking about. And I am furoius with the local chiropractor who suggested a deadly "cure." If & when I find the individual, we will have a little chat. With research, notes, and summaries for that person to read.
*
Poke (Phytolacca americana) is a very toxic, barely edible plant.
A. If prepared correctly, the leaves have been eaten for centuries as a poverty, starvation food. But the secret is in the extensive preparation.
*
B. Poke root is safest used externally only to treat infection, swellings, mastitis, lymph issues. It must be prepared at a significnt dilution in a minute dosing, for a short length of time, and under a trained, experienced practitioner's care. There is no safety window on this one. There are alternate herbs that do the same thing with a wide safety window. You can take them without worrying about life-threatening side effects. I won't recommend it or carry it. Or help you with dosing.
*
I am absolutely serious. If your doctor - chiropractor or otherwise - suggests an herb to treat or cure a disease such as cancer, ask what that person's herbal training is. A 3-hour seminar? A TikTok or YouTube clip? Something someone said? Be very wary. I will argue with any doctor promoting deadly cures - because I have decades more training than they do.
*
POKE ROOT WILL KILL. IT DOES NOT CURE.

SUNBLOCK: Reality vs. Tik Tok Twaddle. It's flashy splashy & total twaddle on social media. There are claims that various essential or seed (like carrot, strawberry, etc.) are sunblocks. Tans are perfectly fine. Sunblocks cause cancer. All false!
*
1. Per Consumer Reports, Tisserand Institute, and many other reliable sources: essential oils and fatty acids DO NOT PROVIDE SUNBLOCKING capabilities.
*
2. Some essential oils contain chemicals that can make your skin much more sensitive to the sun and will cause worse sunburns.
*
3. Tans are the body's attempt to protect itself. Our ancestors did their level best to keep as much of their skin out of the sun's direct rays. Some of the earliest textiles found are some form of hat. Most lightweight summer clothes were long-sleeved, even for the poorer sorts. I could evern start a mega-feud with the (pretty much proven) claim that the ozone layer was not as damaged several thousand years ago, therefore not as high UV rays penetrated to human skin. There is no healthy tan. You may be 35 and think you are one sexy tanned beast. In about 10 years, Botox and fillers won't save you, honey. You will start looking like leather.
*
4. Sunblock prevents cancer; it doesn't cause it. Any issues come from cheap ingredients and contamination. Commercial sunblock can cause skin irritation in sensitive individuals. All natural, non-nano zinc oxide sublock in a clean base will provide excellent skin protection.
*
5. Sunblock doesn't have to be heavy- I wear the Mad Hippie facial serum 30-+ daily, and it's designed to work under makeup.
*
Plain facts. Not opinions. Not an influencer.
