We've had a wonderful time of learning, creativity, music, and fun at Skybrooke!
Residents bravely stepped outside their comfort zones and sampled Butterfly Pea Flower Tea, discovering the fascinating science behind its magical color change.
We also enjoyed Cooking Up Memories, where residents used fresh herbs harvested from our garden to create flavorful vegetable dips. There’s nothing quite like incorporating homegrown ingredients into healthy, delicious recipes!
Our afternoon was filled with outstanding entertainment from the Just Friends Band, whose talented performance had toes tapping and everyone dancing!
Meanwhile, members of our Garden Club learned more about the beauty and care of peonies and were delighted to take home their own lovely floral arrangements.
Days like these remind us that learning, creativity, wellness, and joy can all bloom together.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to The Lucky Gut Collective in Simsbury, where residents explored the connection between nutrition, wellness, and overall well-being. A special thank you to Amy for warmly welcoming our group and providing an engaging introduction to the collective's mission and offerings. Residents had the opportunity to sample a variety of unique and locally sourced foods and beverages, including kelp, handcrafted chips and jam, fermented tea and even mushroom coffee!
Residents have also been spending time in our beautiful courtyard gardens. They pick fresh herbs for their teas and meals, they're planting bulbs and a special shout out to Phil for keeping everything watered!
Here's to staying curious, engaged, connected, and finding joy in everyday experiences!

A lovely morning spent exploring the beautiful Flower Bridge — a place known for hosting so many weddings and special memories. Surrounded by blooming flowers, and wonderful company, it was the perfect outing filled with smiles, laughter, and scenic views. 🌸🌿💐

Skybrooke was honored to host a special Breakfast for First Responders this morning! We had a wonderful turnout, delicious food, and so many meaningful moments as residents spent time mingling and sharing stories with our local heroes. Thank you to all the first responders who dedicate themselves to keeping our community safe every day — we appreciate you! 🚓🚑🚒☕🥞

At Skybrooke, our Memorial Day BBQ was filled with sunshine, smiles, and heartfelt moments as residents and associates gathered together in our beautiful courtyard. The wonderful weather made for the perfect day to celebrate community and connection.
This special event was truly a team effort. From our incredible culinary team preparing a delicious meal, to residents helping create a warm atmosphere, and even members of a younger generation stepping in to volunteer and share their time. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of coming together.
Most importantly, we gathered in honor and remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Today we celebrate, reflect, and remember together.
