September 11, 2001 — We Remember. 🇺🇸
Today we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11th—and especially those who ran toward danger when every instinct would have told them to run away.
Firefighters. Police officers. First responders. Ordinary Americans helping people they had never met.
The enormity of that day is difficult to comprehend. But so was what followed.
For a time, our differences seemed smaller. Neighbors helped neighbors. Communities came together. American flags were everywhere. And there was a tremendous sense of pride in being an American.
Twenty-five years later, that part is worth remembering too.
May we never forget those we lost, those who gave their lives trying to save others, and the unity we found in one of our darkest moments.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
