I’ll be honest—while I’ve always appreciated Pilates and the classes we offer at Natural Vibes, I haven’t had a truly consistent Pilates practice of my own until recently.

When Jennifer Kries joined our schedule and introduced Classical Pilates, I was curious about what made it different from what we already offer.

Four weeks later, I’m hooked.

The changes I’ve noticed have been subtle yet profound. My posture feels more elegant and effortless. My waist feels stronger and more defined. My spine feels more mobile and alive. I’ve become more aware of how I move, breathe, and carry myself throughout the day—including during massage sessions with clients.

Perhaps most surprisingly, I’ve felt a deeper connection to my body and femininity. There’s something about the flow, precision, and intentionality of the Classical method that leaves me feeling energized, aligned, and empowered.

Earlier this year, I completed a Rolfing series that transformed my understanding of structural alignment. As I prepare to begin my own Rolfing training later this year, I’m becoming even more fascinated by the relationship between alignment, movement, and longevity. What I’ve found is that Pilates has been an incredible way to support and maintain those structural changes while continuing to create more freedom throughout my body.

Classical Pilates follows the original sequence and principles developed by Joseph Pilates, while Contemporary Pilates builds on those foundations with modern adaptations and approaches. Both offer incredible benefits, which is why we’re proud to offer both at Natural Vibes.

For me, this isn’t about one method being better than another. It’s about discovering what each approach can teach us about our bodies.

Our incredibly talented Massage Therapist, Nikki Coates, will now be adding Vinyasa Flow to the studio schedule at Natural Vibes 😍

This thoughtfully paced class blends strength with gentle stretching, with an emphasis on mobility, focused attention, and grounding. Through breath, movement, and elements of yoga philosophy, you’ll leave feeling supported, centered, and refreshed.

With immense joy, we would like to welcome Jennifer Kries to the Natural Vibes community—a pioneering force in Pilates and integrative movement whose work has helped shape the global mind-body fitness landscape. A dancer, choreographer, author, and one of the first to bring Pilates to the mainstream, Jennifer is the creator of The Method, her signature fusion of Pilates, yoga, and dance. Her award-winning programs have reached millions, and her lineage traces directly back to the original teachings of Joseph Pilates through first-generation master Romana Kryzanowska.

Beginning next week, Jennifer brings her renowned, master-level teaching experience to Natural Vibes.
