Happy International Guide Dog Day! 🦮

The Carroll Center for the Blind is celebrating and raising awareness of the incredible work of guide dogs and the people who rely on them.

Guide dogs are more than just trained service animals. They are sweet, highly trained companions who help their handlers navigate the world safely and confidently. The bond they share is life-changing and provides a greater sense of independence. At the Carroll Center for the Blind, we work every day to help individuals who are blind or visually impaired build that same independence and confidence through the skills and support we provide. 💙

This Friday, March 21st, 9:30am at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Provincetown, meet Rhonda Garran, Executive Director of Sight Loss Services. She will go over the services available to those who have low vision as well as to those who are legally blind and she will demonstrate some small Adaptive Aids. Open to all regardless of age or degree of vision loss. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
