Your brain makes up just 2% of your body weight, but it consumes roughly 20% of your energy. It is the ultimate high-performance engine—but are you giving it the right fuel and maintenance?

We are focusing on the simple, daily choices that keep your cognitive edge sharp, protect your memory, and support long-term neurological health.

You don't need a complete lifestyle overhaul to make a difference. Start small:

• Swap your second cup of coffee for a tall glass of water.

• Take a 20-minute walk over lunch to clear mental fog.

• Turn off screens 45 minutes before bed to protect your deep sleep cycles.

Consistency beats intensity every single time. Which of these habits are you prioritizing today? Let us know in the comments!

Six of seven. A major victory, and we’re not done.

The votes are in from the PCAC meeting, marking an important win for patient care and continued access to compounded therapies.

Today, Semax and Epitalon were both recommended for inclusion on the 503A Bulks List. Unfortunately, Emideltide did not receive the same majority support.

Securing six favorable recommendations out of seven is a milestone worth celebrating, but it is not the finish line. We remain fully committed to ensuring every restricted peptide receives a fair, evidence-based hearing.

Thank you to every provider, patient, and advocate who submitted comments and made their voice heard. This victory has your fingerprints all over it.

When you hear the words "self-care," what comes to mind? A spa day? A luxury purchase?

While those are great, true self-care isn't about escaping your life—it’s about creating a life you don't actively need to escape from. It’s the unglamorous, daily practice of preserving your health, your peace, and your energy.

Today is , a perfect reminder that filling your own cup isn't selfish. It is essential. You cannot pour from an empty vessel, and you cannot show up fully for your career, your family, or your community if you are running on fumes.

Self-care looks like:

✔️ Setting firm boundaries around your personal time.

✔️ Taking 5 minutes of deep, uninterrupted breathing between tasks.

✔️ Choosing nourishing foods and prioritizing a consistent bedtime.

✔️ Honoring your body’s need to slow down without feeling guilty.

Today, challenge yourself to do one small thing solely because it makes you feel grounded.

This is what progress looks like.

The FDA Advisory Committee’s recommendations today mark an important step toward bringing peptide therapies out of the gray market and back where they belong: under the guidance of qualified medical providers.

This is about patient access, medical freedom, and protecting the right of providers and patients to make informed healthcare decisions together.

Day 2 of the hearing begins tomorrow, with additional peptides up for review.

We are hopeful this momentum continues and moves us closer to better options for both patients and providers!

"Our job should be to study it, regulate it wisely, and make it safer to access under medical supervision—not drive it underground."

When a therapy helps a patient reclaim their health, regulatory policies should support safe, doctor-guided access.

It’s time for firmer ground, sound science, and wise regulation in peptide medicine.

07/23/2026

"We don't have a proactive healthcare system; we have a reactive sick care system."

True healthcare is about prevention, access, and medical freedom. When a licensed doctor determines a compounded peptide can improve a patient's life, no bureaucratic agency should stand in the way.

Protect patient access. Protect the doctor-patient relationship.

07/23/2026

"When regulation pushes patients away from physician-guided care and toward unregulated access, we have made the system more dangerous, not less."

In clinical practice, outcomes matter and restored lives matter. Restricting access to safe, doctor-prescribed peptides doesn't protect patients—it forces them into the gray market.

We need regulations that support physician-guided care and prioritize genuine patient safety.

Fighting for Patient Access & Peptide Therapy Options

Dr. Jim LaValle, RPh, CCN, MT and Dr. Terri DeNeui, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC are live from the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) meeting!

They are advocating for 7 crucial peptides to be added to the 503A Bulk Compounding List. Why does this matter? Because individual patient care requires personalized solutions—especially when conventional therapies fall short or need added support.
