Can an old injury lead to a new problem years later?

Sometimes, yes.

When we experience an injury, our bodies naturally compensate to protect the injured area. Even after the injury heals, those movement patterns can linger and place extra stress on other parts of the body over time.

That's why Dr. Brooke looks beyond where the symptoms are showing up today and considers the bigger picture—including past injuries that may still be influencing how your body moves and functions.

As babies grow, their chiropractic needs change right along with them. 💕

At nearly three months old, Dr. Zach and Dr. Brooke's daughter is entering a new stage of development, and the focus has shifted from those early newborn concerns to supporting healthy movement and growth.

In this video, Dr. Brooke shares what chiropractic care looks like for her daughter at this stage and why those small check-ins can make a big difference as babies continue to grow.

Golfers, this one’s for you. ⛳️

That sharp back pain that starts creeping in after a few holes, especially when you rotate through your swing, may be your body's way of protecting an underlying issue.

While a simple stretch can help ease the tension, recurring pain is often a sign that something deeper needs attention.

In this video, Dr. Zach explains what's really happening when your back starts resisting rotation, why those muscles tighten up in the first place, and what can be done to help you stay comfortable and swinging your best all summer long. ☀️

We got to see some really cool x-rays of patients receiving chiropractic care and how much they have improved.

Chiropractic can help so many people in so many different ways.

Another successful and fun weekend learning about chiropractic, business, and personal growth.

After meeting Dr. Brooke while she was introducing herself to local businesses back in 2020, Melissa decided to come in while dealing with recurring lower back pain from running. What started as one visit has grown into chiropractic care becoming an integral part of her overall wellness plan.

One thing we especially appreciate about Melissa is how intentional she is with her health and wellness. As doctors, it’s incredibly rewarding to work with patients who truly value taking care of their bodies proactively and understand that feeling well is about more than just getting out of pain.

We are incredibly thankful for patients like Melissa who trust us to walk alongside them in their health journey. Hearing stories like these reminds us why we do what we do every single day 💚

Tennis can be tough on the lower legs 🎾

Sometimes what kids describe as an “ankle problem” is actually tension showing up closer to the shin, especially with all the quick stops, hard shifts, and fast direction changes tennis requires.

Dr. Zach shares a simple shin stretch you can do at home, plus why we often look at the feet and ankles when addressing this kind of discomfort.

When those joints are moving better, the muscles above them don’t have to work so hard to compensate.

“What brought them in vs what we discovered” 👀

This patient came in with persistent left wrist pain after a weightlifting injury during a sn**ch movement.

Yes, the wrist itself was involved… but we also found irritation higher up the chain involving the forearm, shoulder, and radial nerve.

The body is connected in ways people don’t always realize. Sometimes the area that hurts isn’t the only area contributing to the problem 💪🏼

Sometimes what feels like a “hip issue” is actually starting lower in the spine 👀

This month’s vertebra spotlight is L2 — a lower back vertebra that can create symptoms radiating into the upper leg when irritated or restricted.

Your body is connected in ways people don’t always expect… which is why getting to the root cause matters 💚
