🎶🍂 That's a wrap on our outdoor concert season! 🍂🎶

On October 1st, we enjoyed our final outdoor concert of the season with the amazing Rusty Jackson Band! 🎸🎤

Our residents bundled up, braved the chilly weather, and had a wonderful time enjoying great music and even better company!

A big thank you to the Rusty Jackson Band for helping us end the season on such a high note! ❤️

Until the warm weather returns, we'll be counting down the days until we can enjoy live music outdoors again! ☀️🎶

💜 Walking for a Cause! 💜

We are so proud of these three wonderful Orchard Crest residents who participated in Spokane’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 💜

It was a beautiful day to come together, raise awareness, and show support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and their loved ones.

Every step brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s! 💜

September is Alzheimer's Awareness Month with September 21st being World Alzheimer's Day.
Orchard Crest proudly cares for our residents in our State of the Art Memory Care Unit, along with supporting their Family Members who are impacted by Alzheimer's Disease.

🎨 Creativity and concentration in Memory Care! ❤️

Our Memory Care residents were hard at work during their Mosaic Noodle Craft! With lots of focus and creativity, they used colorful noodles to create their own beautiful mosaic designs.

Crafts like these are a wonderful way to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and focus—all while simply having fun and enjoying time together. We love seeing each resident’s unique creation come to life! 🥰🎨

🐴🐰🐐 A very special visit from 2nd Chance Ranch! ❤️

Last week, we welcomed the wonderful animals from 2nd Chance Ranch, and our residents absolutely loved every minute of it! Residents from all three of our communities—Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care—came out to enjoy some furry (and very hungry!) friends.

There were plenty of smiles as residents fed the animals carrots, gave lots of pets, and even got to cuddle and hold the sweet bunnies. 🥕🐇

We love activities that bring our entire Orchard Crest community together, and there’s just something special about the joy animals bring. Thank you, 2nd Chance Ranch, for such a memorable afternoon! ❤️

Orchard Crest has beautiful Alcove Apartments available for move in. A cozy apartment with on site dining available, an indoor swimming pool , a theater for weekend movies and lots of fun activities and outings for our residents

Our residents have officially gotten the hang of virtual reality! 🥽🎮 From slicing beats in Beat Saber and playing mini golf, to bowling strikes and even flying airplanes, they’ve been having a blast exploring everything VR has to offer!

And the best part? It’s more than just fun. Virtual reality is a great way to encourage movement, coordination, focus, social connection, and plenty of laughter—all while giving residents the chance to experience things they may not otherwise get to do. 💙

Who knew you could fit this many adventures into one headset?!
