It is with heavy hearts that we share the listing of our Spring Hill building for sale.

This building has been so much more than walls and rooms to us. It has been a place where families were cared for, mothers were encouraged, babies were welcomed, prayers were prayed, and memories were made that we will carry with us forever.

After much prayer and many difficult conversations, we have made the decision to officially close our Spring Hill location on December 31, 2026.

This is not a decision we have made lightly. We have loved serving the families of Spring Hill, Hernando County, and the surrounding communities, and it breaks our hearts to close this chapter. But we also know that sometimes stewardship requires making difficult decisions so that the mission can continue.

Until December 31st, we remain committed to serving our Spring Hill families with love and compassion as we walk through this transition together.

To every mother who trusted us with her care, every family who allowed us to be part of their story, and every person who supported and believed in our vision—thank you. You have been part of something incredibly special, and we will never forget the privilege of serving you.

While this chapter is closing, the mission of In Due Season is not. We will continue serving mothers and families from our Zephyrhills location and remain committed to providing compassionate, relationship-centered maternity care.

We are deeply grateful for the time we have had in Spring Hill, and we trust God with what comes next.

There is a season for everything, and while this is a difficult season of change, we believe that God is still writing the story of In Due Season.

With love and gratitude,

The In Due Season Family 🤍

The United States spends more on healthcare than any other wealthy nation, yet American mothers are still more likely to die from pregnancy and childbirth-related causes than mothers in other high-income countries.

That should make us ask some hard questions.

As a midwife, I believe improving maternal health requires more than better technology and more interventions. It requires listening to women, continuity of care, prevention, education, access to skilled providers, and treating pregnancy and birth as important parts of lifelong health.

Mothers deserve better. Babies deserve better. Families deserve better.

Awareness is where change begins. 🤎

Happy 4th of July from In Due Season Birth Center! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Today, we celebrate freedom, faith, family, and the beautiful gift of life. We are grateful for those who have sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy and for the privilege of serving families as they welcome new life into the world.

Wishing you a safe and blessed Independence Day! 🇺🇸

The future of maternity care in Florida depends on families making their voices heard. Whether you gave birth in a hospital or a birth center, every mother deserves access to safe, high-quality care close to home.

One of the biggest challenges facing maternity care across our state is reimbursement. When hospitals and birth centers aren't reimbursed at sustainable rates for the care they provide, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep labor and delivery units and birth centers open. The result is fewer choices, longer travel times, delayed access to care, and greater strain on the providers who remain.

Please consider reaching out to your Florida State Representative and Florida State Senator. Tell them that fair reimbursement for maternity care matters. Tell them that protecting access to hospital labor and delivery units, licensed birth centers, and licensed midwives matters. Share your personal story. Legislators need to hear from the families whose lives have been impacted.

This isn't about choosing hospitals over birth centers or birth centers over hospitals. It's about protecting access to safe maternity care for every family in Florida. If we don't begin investing in maternity care across the board, we will continue to lose birth options throughout our state. When access to maternity care disappears, mothers and babies face greater risks.

Our families deserve better. Our providers deserve better. And Florida's mothers and babies are worth fighting for.
