We want to thank the singing group that wanted to come in last minute and sing for our residents. They absolutely LOVED having the kids in the community. Hope to have you back again!

Monday, we had a cooking class with a volunteer named Riley that showed the residents how to make rice crispy treats with fruity pebbles. A lot of our seniors hadn't tried the fruity was of making them and REALLY enjoyed the sweet treat.

Last week our monthly church luncheon was a great time. We go once a month to the Siloam Bible church for senior fellowship as well as for a good meal and to get to know others in the church and outside of the community. We as a community really enjoy going and want to encourage anyone that wants to join us in the community to look out for November's date to lunch.

Last week the staff in the community all participated in a secret Boo Basket exchange. It was an absolute blast to witness the exchange, and it really brought the staff together to have fun and do something nice for one another. We cannot wait for our Christmas exchange after having so much fun with this one.

We look forward to playing Dominos each week and we have some new faces which is always fun. Join us every Thursday at 3:30PM, we would love to have you!

Just want to put out another reminder on our fall festival. We want all families and outsiders to be welcomed in. We will be passing out candy to trick or treaters that night, we will have games, snacks, drinks and vendor table set ups. It will be a wonderful time. We encourage anyone and everyone to dress up, staff included. We want to have a great time and give the residents an evening they will cherish. If there are candy donation questions or setting up a vendor table, please reach out anytime. We really hope to see you there, let's have a fun fall celebration and an early Happy Halloween.

This last weekend we had such a great time with our once-a-month fitness instructor with The Fit Group. They are wonderful and exercise is always a blast.

Today was our monthly lunch outing and this month we tried out The Feral Pig in Fayetteville. This is a highly recommended one from us and our seniors. The food was excellent and the staff were amazing. Breakfast, soups, sandwiches and salads. They have a wonderful drink selection as well. If you have not tried them, you should. Can't wait to see where next month takes us!
