Caring for a family member is a full-time role, and it deserves real support.

Through Viability's Adult Family Care program, eligible MassHealth caregivers in Massachusetts who live with the person they support can receive a tax-free stipend of up to $1,650 a month.

Caregivers also get ongoing training, monthly nursing support and a dedicated care manager.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month is a Clubhouse story, too.

Viability's five Clubhouses offer an employment program with three tiers of job placement and support: transitional, supported and independent employment.

Transitional jobs are part-time placements that build experience, and Clubhouse staff cover absences at no cost to the employer. Supported and independent jobs are ongoing, with as much Clubhouse support as each member chooses.

Odyssey Clubhouse in Holyoke is opening its doors, and everyone is invited.

Meet the members, community neighbors, leaders, and elected officials. See how the Clubhouse works. Then help eat the baked goods from the BAKE SALE, where all proceeds support the Members’ Emergency Fund.

Members run this place. They work in the kitchen, answer the phones, and do the work that builds skills and leads to real jobs. Come see it for yourself.

Coffee, tea, and more will be served. No RSVP needed. Everyone is welcome.
