In June 2016, I was bit by a tick with Lyme, Babesia, and Bartonella and within 24 hours went from being a healthy wife, mama, women’s pastor, and business owner to bed-bound fighting for my life with Thyroid Storm, seizures, intense body pain, severe neurological symptoms, and moved in with Mitch’s parents to help care for myself and our three babies the next two years. During that time, The LORD carried me through and have slowly healed over the last 10 years. The main lingering issue was the weight gain from a medication to help with the neurological symptoms from the tick bite that WOULD.NOT.BUDGE.

Fast forward to 2022, I began working at a local functional medicine clinic and learned about GLP-1/GIP’s.
