The search became personal after her family was unable to fulfill her mother's wish to age in place. "I wanted to make sure other families had the opportunity that we didn't," Jill shared.

As she explored franchise ownership, BrightStar Care stood out for its full continuum of care, strong support system, and collaborative network of franchisees. Richard Fulton path to BrightStar Care was shaped by a lifelong appreciation for service and a desire to make a meaningful impact in his community.

After building a successful career in marketing and operations, Richard was inspired to pursue business ownership by his family's experience caring for aging loved ones. Witnessing the challenges of caregiving firsthand reinforced the importance of accessible, high-quality home care and motivated him to bring those services closer to the families who need them most.

“Seeing my mom care for both of her parents really opened my eyes to just how much comes with being a caregiver,” Richard shared. “That's when I realized how important quality home care can be for an entire family.”

Today, Richard is bringing BrightStar Care's full continuum of care to the Southwest Atlanta and College Park community, combining his business expertise with a commitment to supporting families and expanding access to quality care close to home.
