Hi everyone! just launching our little Chaga business here in south central Alaska and wanted to get some basic info out there:
Chaga (inonotus ibliquus) is a rare fungus that grows on the birch tree. It has been used for centuries in northern cultures around the globe for its medicinal properties. There are many ways to use this medicine with drinks, food, and tinctures. Our hope is to educate people on how beneficial it can be for prolonged health/wellness and mitigating disease.
As of now, we have "chunks" or ground product available. All of our Chaga is sustainably harvested here in Alaska and packaged in a certified commercial kitchen. We guarantee 100% wild Alaskan Chaga in every package. While it isn't regulated by the government, we believe that our product is premium grade. We have been advised by doctors/scientists from the University of Alaska on the best practices for this process.
