Our hearts are heavy as we remember a truly special woman, Nancy Willey.
Nancy called our office every day, eager and hopeful to receive the care she needed. Like so many families, she found herself stuck in the frustrating waiting game of insurance approvals and paperwork. Our office staff members fought tirelessly for Nancy, making calls, pushing for answers, and refusing to give up.
But while we waited, we knew Nancy needed help. So we made a decision that came straight from the heart. No private pay. No insurance approval. No expectations. Just Loving Care doing what Loving Care was built to do — caring for people.
Nancy became part of our family.
An April Fool’s Day baby through and through, Nancy never missed an opportunity to make us laugh. Her sense of humor, quick wit, and unforgettable stories brightened our days and reminded us why we do what we do. She had a way of turning an ordinary visit into a memory we’ll never forget.
Nancy was one of a kind. While we were honored to care for her, the truth is she cared for us too. She taught us patience, resilience, and the importance of finding joy in every day.
We are grateful for the time we had with her and will forever cherish the laughter, conversations, and friendship she shared with our team.
Rest peacefully, Nancy. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey. You will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all of us at Loving Care. ❤️
