From our new mental health therapist, Travis:

Connection is at the heart of my work. I value curiosity, honesty, cultural humility, humor, creativity, and the simple practice of being present. Outside of therapy, I find inspiration in art, music, and the natural world. These are all reminders that there is more than one way to experience, understand, and express what it means to be human.

Most of all, I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship. You will teach me about you, and I will bring my training, experience, curiosity, and genuine presence to help you discover where you want to go next. Wherever you are beginning, we can start there, without judgment, with honesty, and with room for possibility.

Call 802-253-2340 to schedule an appointment with Travis.

Norah loved beautiful stones and crystals. She collected them, wore them as bracelets and necklaces, and kept notes on the healing properties of her favorite stones.

After losing Norah to su***de, creating these bracelets began as a way to remember and feel connected to her.

Each bracelet is made using Norah’s favorite stones, and each one contains an ‘N’ bead to remember her by.

The process of making and sharing Norah Beads bracelets has sparked conversations in our community about mental illness, su***de prevention, wellness, and resiliency. We hope that these conversations will be a path toward breaking the silence and ending the stigma around mental illness.

We hope that these conversations will make it easier for others to reach out and ask for help.

We hope that each bracelet will be a reminder to be kind to yourselves and each other, to spread love and hope, to keep going, and to know that even in the darkest times, there are people who wish nothing more than to help you find your way back into the light.

Throughout the month, NorahBeads bracelets will be available at our Stowe Natural Family Wellness, with 100% of proceeds going directly to NorahBeads to help support community resources for su***de prevention and mental health.

💜 September is National Su*cide Prevention Month.

This month is an important reminder that conversations about mental health matter. Checking in with the people around us, listening without judgment, and making it easier to ask for help can make a meaningful difference.

At Stowe Natural Family Wellness, we believe mental health is an essential part of whole-person health. We are committed to creating a space where our patients feel safe talking about how they’re doing, not just physically, but emotionally, too.

If you or someone you love is struggling, you are not alone. Help is available. Call or text 988 to connect with the Su*cide & Crisis Lifeline or text 741741.

This month, and every month, we encourage you to check in, reach out, and remind the people in your life that they matter. 💜
