Today, three of our residents took a special trip next door to visit friends at rehab. The smiles, hugs, laughter, and cherished memories shared remind us that true friendships know no distance and never fade with time.

From lunch to dinner, our residents enjoyed a variety of homestyle favorites prepared with care by our culinary team! ❤️

🥪 Turkey Club Sandwiches with seasoned fries & ketchup
🍖 Roast Pork Loin with herb rice & julienne carrots
🐟 Seasoned White Fish with boiled potatoes & tartar sauce
🌭 Italian Sausage Boil with potatoes & sweet whole-kernel corn

This week, our Resident Ambassador Dawn shared her famous chocolate pound cake recipe with our community! With a little help from her friend Dottie and our Life Engagement Director Roxie capturing the magic, they whipped up a delicious homemade treat that brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

From mixing ingredients to sharing stories and enjoying every bite, this was more than baking—it was making memories. 🥰

Our residents turned ordinary rocks into tiny works of art and then sent them out into the world with a mission—to spread smiles wherever they go! 💜

We painted them, shared laughs, hid them in special places, and watched as others discovered these little treasures. Now the question is…

🌎 Where will these rocks travel?
😊 Who will find them next?
📖 What stories will they tell along the way?

Every rock carries a little piece of our community, creativity, and kindness. If you find one of our rocks, snap a photo and keep the adventure going!

“A teddy bear may be small… but the stories behind them are priceless. ❤️🧸”🧸💕 Every teddy bear has a story… and so does every heart. 💕🧸

Thanks to our wonderful volunteer Belinda also our LED Roxie and others for donating these cozy teddy bears to our residents. Today, each resident introduced their new furry friend, shared its name, and told us why they chose it. Some were named after loved ones, lifelong friends, and even people they admire.

These aren’t just teddy bears—they’re memories, comfort, and love wrapped in a hug. ❤️
