🎶💃 It’s been a great week of music and fun at the Care Center!

Earlier in the week, residents were treated to a wonderful mix of music and relaxation when Jean Blum joined us, bringing both soothing tunes and massages. 💆‍♀️🎶

We wrapped things up with another fun-filled afternoon of live music with Kile Jackson—a great turnout, lots of singing along, and even a little dancing! 😊🎤

The perfect mix of relaxation and fun as we head into the weekend! 💛

🦆🎯 Our dining room turned into a duck hunt zone today!

Armed with Nerf guns and some serious focus, we discovered we’ve got quite a few sharp shooters in the house! 💥😄

And since it’s National Cheese Day, we made sure to keep our aim steady with a little cheese & crackers on the side. 🧀😉

We kept things lively with a game of Penny Pitch, got creative crafting with Judi Zimmerline, and wrapped it all up with a bang (& a band) 🎶 when the Starduster Trio (actually a quartet today 😉) joined us for a fantastic afternoon today.

🌼🌿 There’s just something about getting your hands in the dirt that brings out the smiles! 😊

With the help of Katie, Vicki, and many of our residents, our patio planters are now filled with beautiful flowers and tomatoes. 🍅🌸

Between the planting and the conversation, there was plenty of reminiscing about past flower beds and veggie gardens—such a special part of the day! 💛

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help… the patio is blooming beautifully! 🌼

A big THANK YOU to Ryan & St. Croix Hospice for helping us keep the National Skilled Nursing Care Week fun going with made-from-scratch fruit smoothies for our residents and staff! 🍓🍌

Judging by how many went back for seconds… (or thirds 🤫), we’d say the smoothie bar was a huge hit! 😄
