🩵 Our Brave Like Beck family is growing, and today we want to introduce you to one of our newest buddies, Thomas.
At just four years old, Thomas was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). He endured nearly THREE years of treatment before finally getting to celebrate being cancer-free! For more than a year and a half, Thomas was in remission.. until now.
Unfortunately, Thomas’s leukemia has returned. 💔
Thomas’s dad is a single father raising Thomas and his big sister. To undergo chemotherapy and treatment in Orlando, his dad has had to step away from work to be by his side. Now back home, Thomas is too immunocompromised to return to school, and this family is navigating challenges from choosing life-saving treatment over work.
Over the past two days, I’ve had the opportunity to connect closely with Thomas’s dad, and I’m so grateful that Brave Like Beck will be stepping in to support this family in several ways. But the reality is, their needs extend beyond what our foundation alone can provide.
A close family friend has started a GoFundMe, and I’m asking our incredible Brave Like Beck village for help.
And here’s what I really want everyone to understand… You do NOT have to give a lot to make a BIG difference.

🩵 Three months of phone bills
🩵 A month’s worth of groceries
🩵 A month in gas for trips back and forth to Orlando for treatment
🩵 A weekend hotel stay near the hospital while Thomas receives chemotherapy
Sometimes we hesitate to give because we think our small contribution won’t make a difference. But when a community comes together, those small acts of kindness add up to something extraordinary.
