Have you ever looked in the mirror and felt like your eyes make you look more tired than you actually feel? 👁️

In this video, I’m taking you behind the scenes of a (eyelid surgery) case and explaining exactly what I did for my lovely patient.

Note that every patient is unique so surgery is specific to each patient’s need. Some patients might need less surgery while others might require more or different procedures. The end goal is to achieve the best functional and aesthetic outcome for each unique patient.

My goal is always to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their decisions.

💠Post-Op Care After Eyelid Surgery💠

1. Take prescribed medications (antibiotic, antiinflammatory/analgesic, antibiotic ointmennt/drops for eyes)
2. Cold compresses for the first 3 days (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off)
3. During the first 2 weeks, sleep on your back with head elevated
4. Expect suture removal by day 6 or 7
5. Avoid rubbing or touching your eyes.
6. Keep wounds clean and moist by applying an ointment (Options: vaseline or aquaphor)
7. May apply arnica cream for bruises, never over the incision (Options: Prequel redness reform serum or Skinuva arnica cream) *no significant difference but patients like it*
8. After 2 weeks, may apply a silicone scar cream (Options: Skinuva scar cream or Prequel silicone scar stick)
9. After 2 weeks, can excercise and may start using contact lenses
10. Be patient, results take time!!

Procedures performed:
✨ Quad blepharoplasty (both upper & lower eyelids)
✨ Skin pinch of lower eyelid excess skin
✨ Fat grafting to the lower eyelids

The goal wasn’t to change her appearance—it was to restore a more rested, refreshed version of herself while maintaining her natural beauty.

✓ Careful closure & follow up

The principles stay the same. The ex*****on changes based on each patient’s anatomy, function, and aesthetic goals.

That’s why no two blepharoplasties are exactly alike and surgery is never “one size fits all”.

🤔 Will your rhinoplasty result look different if the surgery was OPEN or CLOSED?

Let’s dive into it briefly!

🪩 The short answer: Not necessarily.

The choice between open and closed rhinoplasty is a surgical approach—not the final result itself. Both techniques can achieve beautiful, natural-looking outcomes when selected appropriately for your specific anatomy and goals.

🪩 Closed Rhinoplasty:
Incisions are hidden inside the nose, resulting in no visible external scar and potentially less swelling.

🪩 Open Rhinoplasty:
A small incision is made across the columella (the tissue between the nostrils), allowing greater visibility and access.

The best approach depends on your unique case, the surgical/reconstructive procedures needed, complexity of the case, and your surgeon’s preference—not which technique sounds better. Both are great and acceptable options.
