Meet Luis, Our Community Liaison in Alice, Texas! 🌟
At Altus Hospice, we believe that caring for our community starts with building meaningful relationships, providing education, and ensuring families know they have someone they can turn to when they need support.
We are proud to introduce Luis, RN, our Community Liaison serving Alice and the surrounding communities!
Luis brings more than 20 years of nursing experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including medical-surgical nursing, mental health, emergency care, and other multidisciplinary environments. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of caring for patients of all ages, gaining valuable experience and a deep appreciation for the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care.
In his role as Community Liaison, Luis is passionate about connecting with local families, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to provide education about hospice care and help people understand the resources available to them. He is committed to being a trusted, approachable resource for those who have questions about hospice and the support it can provide to patients and their loved ones.
At Altus Hospice, we understand that choosing hospice care can bring many questions and emotions. Our dedicated team works together to provide comfort, preserve dignity, and support patients and families throughout their journey. We are honored to be part of the Alice community and look forward to continuing to build relationships with the people and organizations that make our community so special.
When he isn't working, Luis enjoys spending time with his wife and cheering on their two sons as they perform with the Alice High School Marching Band and the Texas A&M University–Kingsville Marching Band. His family takes great pride in supporting their musical journeys!
