Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and honor the amazing volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and hearts to bring joy to our residents. Your kindness and willingness to help make such a meaningful difference in their lives. 🥰

🔧 Jack is always there when those much-needed maintenance issues arise. If it needs fixing, Jack is on it!

🍪 Kim is always ready to lend a hand with activities—and somehow manages to make them even sweeter by bringing cookies and spoiling our residents with special treats!

🌿 Reg truly goes above and beyond to keep our gardens looking their absolute best. His dedication and hard work help make Summerfield such a beautiful place to call home.

To Jack, Kim, and Reg—we appreciate you more than words can say! Thank you for giving so generously of yourselves and for helping make our residents’ days brighter. ❤️

🌺 We celebrated the end of summer in true island style with a fun-filled Luau Party on Friday! 🌴

A special thank-you to Cornerstone Hospice for their generous donations of snacks. Our residents enjoyed an afternoon of fun, laughter, and friendly competition with co****le and horseshoe toss. It was the perfect way to wrap up the summer! ☀️🌺 #

🎉 Bingo is always a firm favorite at Summerfield!
Everyone has their favorite seat, and sometimes we need a little extra space to make sure everyone can join in! 😊
Bingo is so much more than just a game. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our residents to enjoy camaraderie, laughter, and a little friendly competition, while also keeping those brains active and engaged. 🧠❤️
In assisted living, activities that encourage mental stimulation, social connection, and participation are so important—and our residents certainly know how to have fun while doing it!

Yesterday, we were blessed by the extraordinary 95-year-old Nick, who treated our residents to an afternoon of beautiful music, sweet memories, and plenty of smiles. ❤️

Nick shared his wonderful crooning voice as he sang karaoke, but the sweetest moments came when he serenaded his beloved wife with beautiful ballads. His singing brought tears to her eyes—and to the eyes of many of our ladies! 🥹❤️

And, of course, he couldn’t let the afternoon end without getting a few ladies up on their feet to dance with him! 💃🕺

It was one of those truly special afternoons that reminds us how music, love, and a little bit of romance never get old.

Thank you, Nick, for sharing your beautiful voice and your beautiful heart with us. You certainly made our day! ❤️🎶

🎶 Birthday Celebrations with Buddy! 🎂

Our residents are always thrilled when the end of the month rolls around and Buddy arrives with his live music, familiar tunes, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate our birthday boys and girls! 🥳

There’s nothing quite like music to bring back wonderful memories—and our residents love reminiscing, singing along, and even getting up to dance to some of their favorite songs. 💃🕺

Our resident married couple, Nick and Sue, are always a highlight as they entertain us with their lovely dancing. ❤️

We just love our Buddy, our music, our dancing, and most of all, our birthday celebrations! 🎉🎶🎂

This talented group of ladies generously shares their love of twirling by entertaining at communities like ours, simply for the joy of bringing smiles to others. Their passion, energy, and kindness made for a truly special afternoon.

A heartfelt thank you to the Hometown Twirlers for sharing your incredible gift with us. Our residents absolutely loved every minute of the show! ✨

✨ Throwback to our Father’s Day Celebration! 🚗🎶. This year, we celebrated in style with a fun vintage car theme that truly took us down memory lane. A huge thank you to the three local vintage car clubs who generously brought their beautiful cars to share with our residents—it was such a joy to see everyone’s faces light up!

To show our appreciation, we treated the car owners to a delicious throwback lunch featuring classic favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs. 🍔🌭

The fun didn’t stop there! After the car show, residents enjoyed lively music that had everyone dancing, singing, and reminiscing to their favorite tunes from years past. 💃🕺

It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories we’ll cherish for a long time!

What started as an afternoon of crafting suncatchers turned into something even more special! While some residents continued creating beautiful suncatchers, others were inspired to design their own necklaces. The result? A room full of happy, creative residents proud of their unique creations. 💛✨
