✨ LASER HAIR REDUCTION WITH DIOLAZE XL ✨
Tired of shaving, razor burn, ingrown hairs, or constantly dealing with unwanted hair? Diolaze XL laser hair reduction may be a great option.
Diolaze XL uses laser energy to target pigment in the hair follicle, helping reduce future hair growth over a series of treatments. The best results are typically seen with dark, coarse hair.
Who is a good candidate?
People with unwanted dark, coarse hair on areas such as the face, chin, neck, underarms, bikini area, legs, back, chest, and more. Lighter skin with darker hair generally responds especially well, although many skin tones can be treated safely with appropriate settings.
Who may NOT be a good candidate?
Laser does not work well on blonde, white, gray, or very light red hair because there is not enough pigment for the laser to target. We also avoid treating over tattoos, permanent makeup, active skin infections, open wounds, or freshly tanned/sunburned skin.
Before your appointment:
• Avoid tanning and significant sun exposure for several weeks beforehand.
• Do not wax, tweeze, thread, or epilate the area because the follicle needs to be present for the laser to work.
• Shave the treatment area before your appointment.
• Arrive with clean skin — no lotion, deodorant, makeup, perfume, or self-tanner on the treatment area.
• Let us know about any medications, antibiotics, topical retinoids, or changes in your health before treatment.
After treatment:
Mild redness, warmth, or small bumps around the hair follicles can be normal and usually settle fairly quickly. Avoid excessive heat, hot tubs, saunas, intense exercise, and anything that irritates the treated skin for the first day or so. Use a gentle moisturizer if needed and be diligent about SPF 30+ on exposed treated areas.
Hair does not disappear immediately. Treated hairs usually begin to shed over the following days to couple of weeks, and you will gradually notice slower, finer, and more sparse regrowth.
Most people need a series of treatments, because laser only targets hairs effectively during certain stages of the growth cycle. Facial hair is often treated about every 4–6 weeks initially, while body areas may have longer intervals. Hormonal areas such as the chin and neck can sometimes require additional treatments and occasional maintenance.
Laser hair reduction means long-term reduction, not a guarantee that every hair will be permanently eliminated. Hormonal changes, medications, pregnancy, PCOS, menopause, and other factors can also cause new hair growth over time.
