We're all saddened by the death of the Beloved Dolly Parton. She meant so much to the lives of Appalachian Folk and others around. She was a true light and sparkle in this world. ✨💖 There will never be another person like her! She will be so missed by all who loved and admired her! 🦋 She was rare and gentle.

Our residents have been listening to her music and reminiscing ever since we heard of her passing🎶💓
Yesterday and today our staff wore pink for Dolly.
(I only got pictures from today. There were a lot more staff who wore pink yesterday.)

What a fantastic Thursday! 🎉 We kicked off Friday Eve with an awesome happy hour at work today! Our team enjoyed a spread of their favorite snacks 🥨🍪, along with refreshing Alani's, Red Bull, Body Armor, and plenty of water to keep us hydrated. 💦

But the real highlight? A super fun game of Bingo! 🤩 Everyone had a blast and it was the perfect way to unwind and connect. Cheers to a great team and even better times! 🥳

Whew! Today sure has been busy for our residents! This morning they had fun moovin' and groovin' with Lou. We finished off our workout with listening to Dolly Parton and reminiscing about her and all of our favorite Dolly songs💖🩷

And then this afternoon we had Crafts and the Birthday Party! 🥳🎊🍰🍨
We just want to say a huge Thank You to Joyce and Jan for bringing in the crafts for them to do. And thank you for baking some yummy cakes. 😋
Thank you Jessie for your delicious cakes and help today. Thank you Mary for helping out as well, we couldn't have done it without you wonderful ladies! 💓💗🫂

It was Book Club Day today at Skyland Care Center! 📚☕🥐
I always have my first group waiting for me to put out the very first book so they can be the first ones to look through all the books! Our residents truly love Book Club. They enjoy reading, visiting with friends, and sitting together at the tables while enjoying coffee and pastries.
They are already looking forward to next month’s Book Club! 📖❤️

Every Tuesday afternoon, our Skyland Care residents look forward to spending time with Jerry during Bible Study. We are so grateful that Jerry takes time out of his busy week to faithfully come and share the Word of God with our residents. His dedication and kindness are truly a blessing to our Skyland Care family! ❤️📖🙏
