🌈 June is Pride Month. All families deserve support that is kind, welcoming, and respectful.

Families feed their babies in different ways. Some breastfeed or chestfeed, use pumped milk, safe donor milk, infant formula, or a mix of these options.

When care includes everyone, families can feel safe, respected, and supported when asking questions and getting the help they need.

❤️ Today is National HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day (HLTSAD) ❤️

Today, we honor the strength, resilience, and experiences of people who have been living long-term with HIV. Their stories remind us of the progress made in HIV care and the importance of continuing to fight stigma, expand access to care, and support healthy aging for people living with HIV.

National HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day also highlights the unique challenges faced by long-term survivors and older adults living with HIV, while encouraging education, advocacy, and community support.

🧡 Be prepared. Carry Narcan. 🧡

In an opioid overdose emergency, every second counts. Keeping Narcan (naloxone) in an easy-to-reach location can help ensure it's available when it's needed most.

🎒 Store it in a backpack or bag
👜 Keep it in a purse or tote
🩹 Add it to a first aid kit
🏠 Place it in a location that's easy to access

Narcan kits are small, portable, and simple to carry, making it easier to be prepared for an emergency.

Having Narcan on hand could help save a life.

💙 June is Men’s Health Month 💙

Taking care of your health includes staying up to date on recommended cancer screenings.

Did you know that colorectal cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in men under age 50 in the United States?

If you're 45 or older, talk with your healthcare provider about getting screened. Screening can help detect colorectal cancer early, when treatment is often most effective.

✅ Age 45+? Ask about screening.
✅ Early detection saves lives.
✅ Screening options may be available at no cost.

If you do not have health insurance, 📞 call the Cancer Services Program at (315) 435-3653. You may be eligible for FREE colorectal cancer screening.
