This is chamomile growing in a friend's garden in CNY.
It reseeds itself every year, comes back a little more abundant each time, without being asked. Such quiet persistence is something that is so interesting for us to notice.
Most people know chamomile as a wind-down tea. But it's been used for centuries, in Chinese medicine, in European herbalism, in grandmother's kitchens, as a gentle nervous system ally. It calms, it soothes, it reminds the body that rest is not a luxury. It's just what comes next.
The seasons are changing. The body is adjusting. Sometimes it just needs a little help doing what it already knows how to do.
We're here for that.
