We are so happy Jess chose to return to Heartwood, check out his success story!

After being hospitalized with heart failure and chronic kidney disease, Jess returned to Heartwood with one goal in mind—to regain his strength and get back home as quickly as possible.

His biggest motivation was returning home so he could help care for his parents and get back to the life he enjoys.
With hard work, determination, and a positive attitude, he made steady progress every day. His cheerful personality and smile were contagious, bringing encouragement to everyone around him as he worked toward his goals.

By discharge, he was walking safely with a single-point cane and had regained the strength and confidence to return home. Today, he's back behind the wheel of his beloved Ford truck, enjoying his independence and helping his parents whenever he can.
Reflecting on his recovery, he shared, “I'm glad I returned. I got my strength back fast!”
