As Overdose Awareness Month begins, preparations continue for the Nation's 25th Annual National Day of Remembrance for Overdose Victims.

Today's final site visit was more than a walkthrough—it was a reflection of what's possible when a community chooses collaboration over competition.

Representatives from City of Taunton , the Board of Health, The Taunton ComprehensiveTreatmentCenter, Community Counseling Of Bristol County Boneyard Recovery, the Taunton Peer Recovery Support Center, and other community partners came together with a shared commitment to strengthening our community's response to substance use and supporting those impacted by addiction.

This is bigger than one event. It's a vision for what our community can accomplish when organizations work side by side, united by purpose and committed to creating lasting change.

As we prepare to recognize this historic 25-year national milestone, we are reminded that meaningful progress begins with partnerships like these.

Recovery is deeply personal, and no two journeys are ever the same.

Some time ago, one of our valued members made the decision to continue his recovery journey along a different path. We respected that choice because recovery is about finding the experiences, support, and connections that help each person grow. Every peer recovery center shares the same mission—to meet people where they are, celebrate their progress, and walk alongside them on their journey.

Today, we're honored to welcome him back to the Taunton Peer Recovery Support Center.

He returns with new experiences, greater perspective, and continued growth. His journey is a reminder that every step has value, even when it leads us in unexpected directions. Recovery isn't about where your path takes you—it's about continuing to move forward with honesty, courage, and hope.

Beyond his presence, we're excited to see the creativity he brings to our community. His eye for storytelling and content creation has a way of capturing the heart of what we do, helping us share recovery in a way that reaches, inspires, and connects with others. We've built incredible momentum together, and we're excited to see that momentum grow even stronger with his passion and talent back among us.

As we enter Recovery Month, we couldn't ask for a better time to welcome back a familiar face, a valued voice, and someone who has become a true favorite within our recovery family.

Some people join a community. Others help build it.

This weekend, we had the privilege of celebrating the birthday of a truly special member of our recovery family. As the very first official member to sign into our center in 2024, she took a chance on something brand new. Since that day, she has become an irreplaceable part of who we are.

Her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support have touched countless lives. Every friendship formed, every milestone celebrated, and every success our center has experienced carries a small piece of the foundation she helped create.

We were honored to celebrate her with cake, smiles, and the people whose lives she's helped brighten. Thank you for believing in this center from the very beginning Beth B. and for continuing to inspire hope, connection, and recovery every day.

Summer Summer Summer Time 🎶 🎵
Plymouth Recovery Center you all knocked it out the park!!! Last Friday the Taunton Peer Center joined Plymouth along with many other Centers to enjoy their annual Summer cookout. This event had everything. Good food, amazing company, live music, and plenty of games. Thank you for having us. Already looking forward to next year.
