Last week, the rain had other plans and we moved our practice into the Vestry. We still had a beautiful class, good energy, and a cozy space to slow down and breathe. 💖

This week, we’re back at 6 PM at Eden Abbey Brewing Community for another all-levels, donation-based flow!

Likely Story & Irene | Irenic Journey are teaming up to host a fall-themed yoga session between the shelves at our Likely Story bookstore. Come relax and unwind surrounded by novels. Tea will also be served after the yoga session as well as time for shopping with a 10% discount through the store!

While I can’t believe we are about to officially be in July…it will also mark one year of yoga at the Abbey! 🥹

What started in the vestry has grown so much! I’ve had the honor to guide so many wonderful humans in the yoga practice that I love so dearly. To see people that join for their own personal reasons, also come to connect in community. How beautiful is that? This class has truly become the highlight of my week and I mean it when I say I’m truly honored to be your guide. 💗

Last week’s yoga class was a HOT one 🔥🥵 but everyone showed up, rolled out their mats, and embraced the challenge.

As much as we may have wished for a cool breeze, the heat gave us an opportunity to practice being present. When things feel uncomfortable, all we can do is focus on the moment we’re in and the next step ahead. This perfectly aligned with our class theme of trusting the path, even when we can’t see the whole journey.

Also, my yoga teacher training definitely forgot to mention that part of the job description includes being an amateur meteorologist. 😅 Thankfully, the clouds stayed away, the rain held off, and we enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with movement, laughter, connection, and community.
