Old-fashioned fun, friends, family and (mini) funnel cake are the four 'F's of the annual LCT Carnival! Mother Nature also toyed with us a bit yesterday, but the weather held up just fine, and all of our residents and their guests had an absolute blast. We're enjoying beautiful weather in Bucks County this week, and so are our friends in Turtle Court! A select few were out and about today, enjoying a little snack. Fellow staff tell us we have about 13 resident turtles varying in species roaming this beloved area of campus, seated within Luther Village. They love bananas, hibernate under the mud in the winter, and those who are able to swim love to cool off in the koi pond on a day like today!

"Move a Little… Live a Lot!" This was the 2026 theme for National Senior Health & Fitness Day, the nation's largest annual health and wellness event for older adults. Our 𝐿𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑊𝑒𝑙𝑙 teams spent today working together to promote the importance of keeping our residents and all seniors both active and healthy. Not sure about you, but it seems to us like Mother Nature can’t make up her mind! We saw roughly 95° here in Bucks County for multiple days in a row, followed by chilly and rain all day today?! 🤦🏼‍♀️ We were able to at least get a stunning sunset out of it Tuesday night, making Rockhill’s Main Entrance look like a professional oil painting 😍🥹

Today’s is dedicated to spring florals! We’ve had April showers and plenty of May sunshine, too, so aligning one of our Creative Corners and adding a special one-off class to the mix was warranted! Our weekly crafters enjoyed putting together floral door decorations with an assortment of silk flower options, and others joined a DIY floral arranging class a few weeks later using fresh blooms. 🪻🌼 What do you think of all their creations?
