✉️💛Happy National Pen Pal Day! 💛✉️

Our Friendship Village residents and these amazing 4th‑graders in Pen Pals Across Generations have spent the whole school year swapping letters, stories, and plenty of smiles — building friendships that prove connection has no age limit.

After a whole school year of writing back and forth, the students and residents finally got to meet their pen pals in person and celebrate the special connections they've created together📬 ✨

Today, we’re celebrating those handwritten moments and the joy of finally meeting pen pals face‑to‑face. Here’s to kindness, curiosity, and friendships that span generations.

🍺 Hoppy Times in Area 14! 🍺

Area 14 residents jumped into Beer 101 with our Brewmaster Tyler, and let’s just say… the vibes were crisp, the pours were generous, and the knowledge was flowing.

Tyler walked our neighbors through all things beer — how it’s brewed, the history behind it, and what makes each style unique. And of course, the best part: tasting Starfire’s delicious brews while snacking on all the good stuff.

Plenty of laughs, plenty of learning, and plenty of hops. Another great day here at the Village! 🍻

Flashback Friday to our sold‑out Kentucky Derby Party! 🏇🌹
Residents filled the room with excitement, laughter, and plenty of Derby flair while enjoying the race, great food, and refreshing drinks. What a fantastic day — and all for a wonderful cause supporting Kiwanis Children’s Charities.

Big paws, big hearts, BIG smiles at Friendship Village! 🐾💙
This weekend, the garden at Friendship Village Healthcare Center was filled with more than 30 Great Danes — all answering one very special wish.

Angie Pierde, a longtime Great Dane lover in our Health Care Center, wished for a visit from one of her favorite giant pups. Thanks to the amazing AZ Dane Army, she didn’t just get one… she got a whole squad of gentle giants! 🐕‍🦺✨

There were big paws, bigger cuddles, and the biggest smiles all around. 💛🐾

A beautiful moment for an incredible woman.

Dozens of gentle giants filled the plaza of Friendship Village Healthcare Center in Tempe on Saturday to answer the wish of a Valley woman in hospice.
