This afternoon we had the pleasure of visiting with
Alexys Haynes as she walked us through the steps of creating ribbon bracelets. She was so patient and kind 💕 She took her time working one on one & in a group setting, making sure each resident had the opportunity to design the bracelet they wanted. I loved hearing what word they wanted and why 🙂 It’s moments like this that inspire me to do more 👀Our residents and staff truly love this young woman. We look forward to the craft she brings but even more so… we look forward to the love she brings to the table. Thank you for sharing your love & your passion with us. Thank you to The Villa At Texarkana for sponsoring arts & crafts today. We left the table with more than a bracelet thanks to our dear friend. I suppose you could call it a “friendship bracelet” 😉
We LOVE family involvement 💕 Ms Sandy’s brother came to the activity to watch his sister as she participated. He ended up helping her thread her beads onto her ribbon. She noticed me taking his picture and she said, “You’re going to be on Facebook now!” She laughed 🙂 Such a sweet moment that we will cherish.
