This week, I celebrated a special birthday surrounded by family and friends. It was a reminder of how important it is to be present for the moments that matter.
But I also know that for many people living with anxiety, celebrations do not always feel simple or joyful.
Anxiety can begin stealing the moment before it even happens.
It can make you dread the dinner before you arrive, overthink the conversation before it starts, cancel the plans you were once looking forward to, or spend the entire vacation waiting for something to go wrong.
It does not always have to be severe anxiety to affect your life.
Sometimes it quietly takes away the joy from the simple things: a birthday, a movie night, a date, happy hour with coworkers, a family gathering, or a long-awaited trip.
Over time, anxiety can convince you that avoiding life feels easier than enjoying it.
If this sounds familiar, I encourage you to stop and take the first step.
Schedule a free consultation with me, and letās take a few minutes to walk through what you are experiencing.
Together, we can begin looking at a plan to help you return to clarity, confidence, and calm.
Because the next birthday, vacation, dinner, or milestone should not be something you survive.
It should be something you are fully there to enjoy.
And maybe next time, you will be the one singing louder than anyone in the room (even me).
