Please welcome our new Director of Nursing, Trisha Winchell!

Trisha graduated from Capella University Minneapolis, MN with a bachelor's degree in nursing.

After completing nursing studies, Trisha began her career in skilled nursing and psychiatric care in Owen, WI as a registered nurse. After several years as a staff nurse, She served as a public health nurse and public health emergency preparedness coordinator with Taylor County. Though she enjoyed and gained knowledge in different areas of nursing, She knew skilled nursing was truly where she belonged and began the journey as a director of nursing in Thorp WI. Trisha has been a director of nursing with several years experience at two skilled nursing facilities and takes pride in the history of deficiency free surveys that reflect the dedicated care and compassion of the facility to meet compliance regulations for best resident outcomes.

Originally from the small-town Medford, Wisconsin, Trisha enjoys spending time with her family, friends and 3 children. She also enjoys traveling to new places, anything outdoors (except bugs), and watching Milwaukee Brewer games.
