As such, women should have enough control over their labor and birth to follow their instincts, to experience little interference, and to recognize the amazing strength they demo

nstrate bringing new life into the world. We believe that a birth experience often empowers women and prepares them for the road ahead – the challenging role of parenting. We believe women are fully capable of researching options in childbirth and should be the main decision maker. We believe that each woman deserves respect and kindness during pregnancy, labor, birth and the following years.
