Grand Traverse Industries provides job training, supported employment and day programs to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs are managed by our two locations located in Traverse City and Mancelona, Michigan. Additionally, we provide services to hearing impaired/deaf clients through our LIS’N Program.

🌱🥗 It’s harvest day in Mancelona!

Our team members made their very first salads using fresh greens grown in their new hydroponic grow tower. We're excited to watch Friendship Community Gardens take shape throughout the summer as we move outdoors and continue growing together. Stay tuned for more updates from the garden! 🌿

🎉💙 After 25 years, Nikki Herman is retiring! 💙🎉

Throughout her tenure at GTI, Nikki has worked just about every job both in our facility and throughout the community. Nikki is well known for her love of Special Olympics, arts and crafts, and all things University of Michigan 💙💛🏅🎨

We are so proud to have been part of this wonderful woman's journey. Thank you, Nikki, for the joy, creativity, and love you have shared with everyone around you. We will truly miss you! Wishing you a wonderful and well-deserved retirement! 🎊🎈
