Custom Hospice volunteers spent a beautiful day at Vista Springs in Clarkston working alongside residents to refresh the community's outdoor spaces. Together, they cleaned flower beds, trimmed shrubs, planted colorful flowers, and prepared the gardens for the season. The day was filled with teamwork, conversation, and plenty of smiles, ending with donuts and water as everyone celebrated a job well done.

As temperatures rise, staying safe in the heat is more important than ever—especially for older adults and those with chronic health conditions.

💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day
🏠 Stay indoors during the hottest hours (10 AM–4 PM)
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
🧴 Use sunscreen and wear a hat when outside
❄️ Keep your home cool with fans or air conditioning
⚠️ Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including dizziness, weakness, nausea, or excessive sweating
