What if the wound you keep trying to fix is also part of your gift?
This week on Mondays with Bev & Paul, we're talking about The Wound That Becomes the Gift.
We begin with the ancient story of Chiron, the wounded healer—a healer who could help others while carrying a wound he could not heal himself.
And that raises a question many of us can relate to:
Why do we think we have to be completely healed before we're allowed to help someone else?
We don't.
People don't necessarily want our perfection.
They want our truth.
Our experiences—our struggles, losses, disappointments, and wounds—can sometimes teach us compassion and help us recognize what another person is going through.
That doesn't mean we glorify suffering or that being wounded automatically makes someone a healer.
It means we can become more aware of our own humanity.
And this connects beautifully with Bio-Touch.
Bio-Touch isn't about pretending we have all the answers. It's about being present, offering caring touch, and connecting with another human being without needing to diagnose or fix them.
Maybe instead of asking:
“What's wrong with me?”
we can ask:
“What has my life taught me?”
Join Bev and Paul for a conversation about the wounded healer, truth versus perfection, and why you don't have to be fully healed before you can help someone else.
You don't have to be perfect to be present.
