Nobody teaches this in chiropractic school.

But your ability to hire, communicate, and set expectations determines everything about how far you go.

I learned this the hard way. Clinical excellence got me in the door. People skills built the organization.

You can be the best adjuster in the room. But if you can’t lead people, retain staff, or have hard conversations, your growth has a ceiling.

The clinical side is the foundation. The people side is what scales it.

People don’t make decisions based on price.

They make decisions based on value.

If all you talk about is cost, don’t be surprised when the conversation stays there.

Show people the value first. Help them understand the outcome. Educate them on what’s possible. Build certainty before you ever discuss numbers.

When people understand the value, the price makes a lot more sense.

One thing separates the business owners who make it from the ones who don’t.

It’s the ability to keep going when keeping going stops making sense.

There was a stretch building RxWellness where the effort wasn’t matching the outcome. Revenue flat. Doubt loud.

Nobody was telling me this was normal. I just had Phoebe and a decision to stay disciplined even when discipline felt pointless.

Discipline in the hard season isn’t doing more. It’s refusing to do less when everything in you wants to.

We didn’t break through because we got lucky. We broke through because we never stopped showing up long enough for the work to compound.
