About Macey

Macey is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered through the many seasons of motherhood. From pregnancy and postpartum to step-parenting, fostering, and adoption, she understands that motherhood rarely unfolds the way we expect — and it certainly doesn’t come with a manual.

For many women, this chapter of life can bring old wounds to the surface, challenge relationships, and stir questions about identity, purpose, and self-worth, all while learning how to care for someone new. Macey believes mothers deserve a space where they can show up honestly, without judgment, and feel genuinely supported through both the beautiful and difficult parts of the journey.

Therapeutic Style

Macey’s approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. She frequently incorporates EMDR therapy alongside other evidence-based approaches to help clients process experiences such as birth trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the resurfacing of past pain during motherhood.

Her style blends compassion, practicality, and gentle honesty — helping clients build confidence, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves beyond the roles they carry. Macey believes therapy works best as a partnership where clients are the experts of their own lives.

She also brings warmth, humor, and authenticity into the room, adding her own touch of “razzle dazzle” to the healing process. Whether she’s referencing Friends or Harry Potter or celebrating victories right alongside her clients, Macey believes healing happens more easily when people feel safe enough to be their full selves.

Education & Credentials

Mom guilt has a way of convincing us we’re never doing enough — but the truth is, caring so deeply already says so much about the kind of parent you are. 🤍
You were never meant to carry impossible standards, constant comparison, and pressure all on your own. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to need support. And it’s okay to let some of that guilt go.

Not every season of life is about pushing harder. 🤍
Some days, getting out of bed, showing up, setting boundaries, or simply making it through the day is the victory. Healing isn’t always loud-sometimes it looks like staying steady. Give yourself credit for that today.

Summer doesn’t have to be packed full to be meaningful. ☀️
Sometimes healing looks like fresh strawberries, quiet walks, simple routines, creativity, and celebrating the small wins that nobody else sees. This month, give yourself permission to slow down and reconnect with what feels good for your mind and body. 🌿

June invites us to slow down, breathe deeper, and make room for growth. 🌿
Whether you’re healing, rediscovering yourself, or simply trying to make it through one day at a time-you do not have to do it alone. Welcome, June. ☀️

Your story doesn’t have to be polished to be worthy—it already is. The messy parts, the quiet chapters, the moments you don’t always share… they all matter. You don’t need to rewrite your experiences to be understood or accepted. Healing begins when you allow your story to exist exactly as it is, without judgment. There is space for all of it here.

Every child deserves more than just a place to stay—they deserve to feel safe, seen, and truly at home. Foster Care Month is a time to recognize the strength of children in the system and the compassion of those who open their hearts and homes. Whether you’re a foster parent, a supporter, or someone simply learning, your awareness matters. Healing happens in connection, and even the smallest acts of care can create lasting impact.

Today, we pause to remember the lives given in service—honoring the courage, sacrifice, and love that extends far beyond the battlefield. For many, this day carries pride, grief, and everything in between. If you’re holding loss, reflection, or quiet gratitude today, you’re not alone. Take a moment to slow down, to remember, and to care for your heart in whatever way it needs.

There’s something powerful about realizing you’re not who you used to be—and that’s a good thing. Growth doesn’t always feel graceful. Sometimes it looks like letting go, setting boundaries, healing quietly, or simply choosing yourself in ways you never have before. Wherever you are in your journey, honor it. You are evolving, expanding, and becoming more aligned with who you’re meant to be.

You were never meant to do this alone 🤍 Parenting doesn’t require perfection—it requires support. The more cared for you are, the more capacity you have to show up for your kids in the ways that matter most. Asking for help isn’t a weakness…it’s part of the foundation.
