About Macey
Macey is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping women feel seen, supported, and empowered through the many seasons of motherhood. From pregnancy and postpartum to step-parenting, fostering, and adoption, she understands that motherhood rarely unfolds the way we expect — and it certainly doesn’t come with a manual.
For many women, this chapter of life can bring old wounds to the surface, challenge relationships, and stir questions about identity, purpose, and self-worth, all while learning how to care for someone new. Macey believes mothers deserve a space where they can show up honestly, without judgment, and feel genuinely supported through both the beautiful and difficult parts of the journey.
Therapeutic Style
Macey’s approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and collaborative. She frequently incorporates EMDR therapy alongside other evidence-based approaches to help clients process experiences such as birth trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the resurfacing of past pain during motherhood.
Her style blends compassion, practicality, and gentle honesty — helping clients build confidence, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with themselves beyond the roles they carry. Macey believes therapy works best as a partnership where clients are the experts of their own lives.
She also brings warmth, humor, and authenticity into the room, adding her own touch of “razzle dazzle” to the healing process. Whether she’s referencing Friends or Harry Potter or celebrating victories right alongside her clients, Macey believes healing happens more easily when people feel safe enough to be their full selves.
