Michael L. DeAngelo, age 78, of West Brownsville, PA, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 in his home. He was born July 27, 1947 in Brownsville, PA son of Rudolph DeAngelo and Jennie Presock DeAngelo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet North DeAngelo; brothers, Eugene DeAngelo, Rudolph DeAngelo, Jr and Wayne DeAngelo, and a sister, Gloria DeAngelo.

Michael was a graduate of Beth Center Class of 1965. He worked at Hillman Barge and then for the railway system until an accident rendered him disabled.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory is a sister, Charlotte (Bunny) Pinardi, Brownsville, PA; a brother-in-law, Lee North and life-time friend, Wolfie. Also surviving are many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. In accordance with the family’s wishes there will be no public viewing.

Leila J. Harvey Dillinger, age 84, of Grindstone, PA, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026. She was born June 10, 1942 in Grindstone, PA daughter of the late Willis Harvey and Irene Lucosh Harvey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Butch” Dillinger and brother, Harry Harvey, Sr.

Leila was a member of the First Christian Church of Grindstone. She truly loved her church life and her family and friends. She was a member of the Secret Sister Program.

Left to cherish Leila’s memory are her daughter, Doreen Burke and husband Edward of Grindstone and many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa. In accordance with the family’s wishes there will be no public viewing.

Shirley A. Acton Riley, age 92, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully in Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 14th. She was born January 15, 1934 in Republic, PA daughter of the late Robert Acton and Mildred Gibson Acton Abraham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Riley, her daughter, Jacqueline Zebro and sisters, Jacqueline “Jackie” Duritsky, Carole Fuller and Bertha Seehoffer.

Shirley was a 1952 graduate of Redstone High School. She enjoyed singing, the outdoors, drawing, reupholstering, and sewing. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Aunt Shirley (as she was affectionately called) loved the Lord and was a child of God. The Lord gifted her with creative arts and a beautiful voice. She loved to sing and perform. Music was a big part of her life. You could often find her singing to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Patsy Cline. Shirley loved her family dearly and would show compassion to anyone in need.

Left to cherish Shirley’s memory are her son, Richard Riley of Butler, PA; brother, Robert Acton, Jr. of New Hampshire; sister, Sara Abraham of Schuylkill, PA; grandchildren, Alexander, Tara, David and Nathan; two great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where the family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 2 until 4 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Shirley’s life at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Travis Edgar officiating. Interment will be private.

Lorie Ann Hercik, age 67, of Hopwood, PA, passed away July 10, 2026 at her home with her son by her side after a brief but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born July 1,1959 in Uniontown, PA daughter of the late Aloysius and Louise Ulanosky Hercik.

Lorie Ann graduated from Uniontown High School Class of 1977 and Durbin Secretarial School. She was employed by the Fayette County Assistance Office in various roles. She was a member of St. Joseph R. C. Church in Uniontown throughout her life and fully committed her life to Jesus Christ in the final weeks of her life. Lorie loved animals, enjoyed traveling, going to the casino, spending quality time with family and friends and always helping people. She found true fulfillment in serving others.

Left to cherish Lorie’s memory is her loving son, Alec; brothers, Tom Hercik, Uniontown, PA and Terry Hercik, Verona, PA; sisters, Marlene Jane Hercik-Evans, Indian Rocks Beach, FL and Darla (Ed) Rocco, Allison Park, PA. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Gator and many close friends that she considered family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIES, INC., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 16th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, July 17 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be offered. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Lorie’s life will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph R. C. Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Lorie may be made to Fayette Friends of Animals.
