Purpose Physical Therapy Our purpose: To serve, care, lead, and empower those in our community one person at a time.

Our mission is to help you achieve the ultimate human experience by enhancing physical capacity, optimizing health and performance, and instilling confidence with aging. Over 75% of people look for a 'partnership' with their healthcare providers to decide on best treatment. We understand the importance of this patient-provider relationship when it comes to YOUR health. One of the greatest frustrations patient's report with healthcare today in the US is that they feel rushed in their appointments and they don't feel heard. Our doctors of PT will spend a full hour each one-on-one session to make sure you are listened to and understood.

Sometime the hardest part is knowing where to start. And that’s where we come in. 🤝 // At Purpose, we take the time to listen, understand what matters to you, and build a plan to help you reach your goals.

The full episode is LIVE! 🎙️🍊 For our latest St. Pete Professional Spotlight, Diego sat down with Zak, Head Coach at Orangetheory Downtown St. Pete, for a conversation about what actually creates lasting progress in fitness!

// Consistency vs. the “perfect” workout, some of the biggest mistakes people make in the gym, why slowing down can actually make your workouts better, heart-rate based training, recovery, and what helps people keep showing up long enough to see results! 👏

And if walking into a gym still feels a little intimidating, there’s some really good perspective in this one for you too.🧡

A big thank you to Zak and Orangetheory Downtown St. Pete for being part of the series!

“…you will get the results and get your life back.” This is what it’s all about. 🧡

Less pain is great but getting back to your life, your goals, and the things you want to be able to do is the bigger picture.

And we love Katheryn’s point about doing the work, because progress really is a partnership. The right plan, the right guidance, consistency, and a willingness to keep showing up.

Thank you, Katheryn, for trusting our team with your care and for sharing your experience! 💪

If you’re to start working toward your own goals, we’re here for it!

Still taking this one in. 🧡 Last Saturday, we officially cut the ribbon on our new home. It’s hard to put into words what this moment meant to us.

Purpose started with a vision for something we believed physical therapy could be — personal, intentional, relationship-driven care where people feel genuinely known, supported, and empowered to keep doing the things they love.

What started in a much smaller space, with a lot of hope and plenty of uncertainty, has grown into this. And we wouldn’t be here without the patients who trusted us, the team members who believed in what we were building, and the family, friends, local businesses, and community partners who have supported us, shared our name, showed up for us, and continued to believe in where we’re going…

Standing there together and cutting that ribbon was one of those moments where we got to look around and realize just how many people have become part of this story.
Thank you. Truly. 🧡

We’re incredibly proud of what Purpose has become and even more excited about what comes next!

PS: We have A LOT more photos from last week coming if you had FOMO. 😉

10 SIGNS IT’S TIME TO SEE A PELVIC FLOOR PHYSICAL THERAPIST // Most people think pelvic floor physical therapy is only for after something feels “wrong.”
But often, the signs are more subtle — and sometimes, it’s about being proactive.

It might look like:
• leaking with exercise, coughing, or sneezing
• feeling heaviness or pressure
• going to the bathroom “just in case” or feeling urgency
• pain with in*******se
• difficulty feeling connected to your core
• or even preparing your body for pregnancy, labor, and postpartum

These are all signs your pelvic floor may not be functioning or coordinating the way it should — especially during movement.

And while many of these symptoms are common, they’re not something you just have to live with. Pelvic floor physical therapy focuses on restoring strength, coordination, and confidence so you can move, exercise, and live without limitations.

We’re here for you! 🧡

SAVE this for future reference or SHARE with someone who might benefit 🤍

Finishing your plan of care matters more than most people realize. It’s easy to stop once you start feeling better. The pain decreases, movement improves… and life gets busy again. But that’s often where people miss out on the biggest gains.

True progress isn’t just about feeling better in the moment — it’s about building the strength, confidence, and capacity to keep doing what you love long term. Bev didn’t stop early.

She committed to the process — and now she’s healed beyond expectations and back to living a full, active life again. That’s what follow-through can do.🙌
