Natural henna is a process, not an instant result. 🌿

One of the most common questions I get is why henna appears bright orange at first. As the stain oxidizes over the next several days, the color deepens into the rich tones natural henna is known for.

❤️🥀This memorial piece was done in honor of a friend of mine. It was photographed from fresh application through Day 5 to show the transformation.

One of my favorite things about henna is watching the stain develop. 🌿✨

This image shows the same design after application, through the 1st 48 hours ❤️

Fresh henna begins as a bright orange stain and naturally deepens over the next 24–48 hours into rich brown, red, and amber tones. Every stain develops a little differently depending on placement, aftercare, body chemistry, and the quality of the henna itself.

This particular design included several personal memorial elements and was especially meaningful to create.

☀️ Online classes will begin on June 8th! Please note that not all classes will be available for this option. When you book your class online, you'll see 2 options for the class. The In Studio class and the Online version. Same passes, same pricing. For the Hot Vinyasa classe, they will just be 60-minute Vinyasa if you're taking the online version.
